Shipping policy

Most of our products are posted in a box with stuffing to keep your purchase safe.

Other products are sent by regular unregistered post in an envelope in order to try keep the costs down for you, the buyer. This is clearly written in the description.

Damages and issues

Michael's Plastics is not liable for any parcels that are lost, damaged, delayed, or stolen once they are handed over to the courier. All risk passes to the customer at the point of dispatch.

Lost Parcels & Courier Claims

If your parcel goes missing or arrives damaged, any claims must be made directly with Auspost. We can assist by providing tracking numbers and dispatch details, but we cannot guarantee claim outcomes or act on your behalf.

Please inspect your order on the day upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. No claims will be accepted if a claim is made after the date delivered. All items sent in an envelope are not covered for damages or non-delivery. These terms are non-negotiable due to the amount of fraud being commited. 

Delivery Address

To ensure the fastest possible processing times and to protect our customers from fraudulent activity, we are unable to change the shipping address on an order once it has been placed.

Our system is designed to send orders immediately to our fulfillment center for picking and packing. This automated process ensures your package gets to you as quickly as possible, but it also means we cannot intercept or modify the shipping details once the order is finalized.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address is entered correctly at checkout. Michael's Plastics is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an insufficient or incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the reshipping costs.

PLEASE NOTE: Michael's Plastics takes no responsibility if an item is damaged or does not make it to its destination if an order is sent by unregistered post. We do have options for buyers to send orders via tracked and insured post in box with some items having a seperate listing for boxed postage . If there is no other listing for the particular product you want sent in a box, please send a message and we will create one. To date we have only had a handful of products that have not made it to their destination from over 40000 orders.

This service has no compensation for loss or damage as Australia Post has no liability pursuant to section 34 of the Australian Postal Corporation Act 1989.
