AEG PS254DB Mitre Saw Zero Clearance Throat Plate Insert — Cleaner Cuts, Less Tear-Out
The factory throat plate on the AEG PS254DB leaves a wide gap around the blade, which allows timber, veneer, and laminate to flex and splinter at the cut line. A zero clearance insert closes that gap, supporting the workpiece directly beside the blade and reducing tear-out on the underside of the cut. If you're chasing cleaner results on finish timber, mouldings, or laminated sheet, this is the fix.
